I saw 2 Lazuli Buntings about 11:00 today along the Loop Trail about halfway between Wahkiakum Lane and Union Bay. One male was singing vigorously from various perches along the row of cottonwoods, and the other was quietly perched in a small tree near the burned tree (Shovelers' Pond area). What a treat!
