Hello, this is the Audubon Society Rare Bird Report. This report was made

A CHIMNEY SWIFT was reported May 29 at Baskett Slough NWR. On May 26 a
BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER was at Mt. Tabor Park in Portland. A HUDSONIAN
GODWIT was photographed May 26 at Jackson Bottom in Hillsboro. A male
ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was reported during the week at Camp Sherman. Two
INDIGO BUNTINGS were west of Bend May 28. Another two were at Murderers
Creek south of Dayville the same day.

In Harney County during the week were two ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS, two
TENNESSEE WARBLERS, and a REDSTART at Malheur Refuge Headquarters. A
BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER, a BLACK PHOEBE, and a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH at
Benson Pond, a MOCKINGBIRD near Page Springs Campground, and a TENNESSEE
WARBLER in Fields. A CATBIRD was seen during the week in Hines.
COMMON NIGHTHAWKS arrived in the county May 24.

On May 23 two MARBLED GODWITS and 1200 SANDERLINGS were in the beach near
Dunes City south of Florence. Two LONG-BILLED CURLEWS were at Siltcoos River
May 25.

A male CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD was at Warren near Scappoose May 25. A male
BLACK-THROATED SPARROW was in southeast Portland May 25. A MARBLED GODWIT
was at Jackson Bottom in Hillsboro May 26. Two WESTERN KINGBIRDS at
Minto-Brown Park in Salem may attempt to nest. On May 24 two BLACK-NECKED
STILTS were near Baskett Slough NWR. A GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW was singing
May 24 near Junction City. A RED-EYED VIREO was in Eugene May 28.

On May 25 a SNOWY PLOVER was at Hatfield Lake near Bend. Two MOCKINGBIRDS
were seen during the along Hwy 20 at Hampton. A WHIMBREL was seen May 25 at
Ladd Marsh SWA near LaGrande.
