Subject: [Tweeters] 520 bald eagle

Lately I've been driving into Seattle frequently using my
favorite 520 bridge and Oct 24th I saw the bald eagle w/b
on a light standard to the left and coming back e/b on a light
standard on the left (opposite sides). On Oct 29th did not see
it but Oct 31 at about 1:30pm it was on a light standard on the right
as I was w/b and later about 4 or 4:30pm it was on the same
light standard when I drove e/b. Does anyone know if it has
found a new mate and do we know if it is a male or female?

Good news: I heard just today both male and female Snoqualmie
bald eagles were seen at their favorite fishing place near the
nest this week. The second eagle returned a bit late causing locals
to say it wasn't going to return this year. Great to know both are back
at the nest and courtship/nest building can begin anew.

I saw one bald eagle a week ago at the Issaquah nest. Hoping to drop by
and see if both are there. Also planning a trip or two to check out the
North Bend nest
and locate the Carnation nest, which I've heard a lot about but haven't
personally
seen it yet.

If anyone else has bald eagle news I'd love to hear about it. Hope everyone
has recovered from post-Halloween sugar high/lows.
