Yesterday afternoon from Seattle's Golden Gardens and then the mouth of
the ship canal, I saw many distant flocks of waterfowl heading south
over the Sound. I couldn't be certain without a scope, but they looked
like Snow Geese. Then after dark from Queen Anne hill, I heard geese
overhead that I'm fairly sure were Snow Geese. If so, that was a lot of
a species I rarely see near town. Did anyone else have them yesterday?
