Subject: [Tweeters] Marymoor sparrows today

Hi all,

Another couple and I spotted the Clay-Colored Sparrow on a gravel road right
next to the compost piles about 11:15 AM. It was with 5-6 GCSP's and 3
SOSP's. After 10 minutes or so, the flock flushed and the CCSP was not
relocated for the nest 30 minutes, after which I left.

Earlier, about 10:40 AM, as I just got out of my car (Lot G) and walked to
the viewing mound trail while observing a small flock of sparrows in the
brush, I got a brief view of a smallish sparrow with a clear breast but with
a black spot in the middle, and rufous crown that stuck up a little. It
looked similar to a Am. Tree Sparrow I saw last year at the Kent Ponds, but
reviewing Sibley, It could have been a Lark Sparrow as well. I'd be
interested to know if the bird is spotted again and ID'd.
