Subject: [Tweeters] Where to hunt for Black Rails in the Bay Area

Hello Tweeters,

I'm living in San Francisco this autumn and would love to try and see a
black rail. My field guide reports that:

Your best chance to see a Black Rail is among the saltwater marshes of San
Pablo and San Francisco bays during the highest tides of December and
January.

Does anyone have any more specific places where they've had luck, or have
any contacts with people that might? All the ebird sightings I could find
appeared to be old, and most google searches came up with scientific papers
from a few years ago.

Thanks!

Sam
