I also was not able to find a Ross's Goose but did see the Cackling/Canada
Geese flock on the North side of the ponds.

Subject: [Tweeters] No King Co. Ross's Goose later in the morning on 11-20

Hi Tweeters,

I just got back from checking out Renton Longacres Pond from about
11:45-12:30. I found the Cackling Goose flock on the north side of the
ponds feeding on grass, but neither I nor several other birders there saw
any Ross's. I also walked around the ponds, and checked some grassy fields
off to the southeast without seeing any other geese. There's a lot of open
space in the general area so they could easily be hiding somewhere though!

Note that the map Doug Schurman linked to maps the ponds location
incorrectly - they are on the east side of Longacres Drive. I parked at the
south end of this drive before the gates - I think it's legal parking even
though it's on Boeing Property b/c I didn't see any signs saying it was
restricted, but don't hold me to that!!

Good birding,
