Hi Tweets,

On Nov. 23, 2013 Andy McCormick and Suzy Hunter led a group of 10 birders
to Whidbey Island of WA. See Andy's post earlier.

We had a total of 70+ species. The high lights for me are:

a. Pacific Wrens in plain view for an extended time;
b. Many close range sightings of Harlequin Ducks;
c. Close range viewing of about 60 Black Oystercatchers at the Deception
State Park;
d. 3 kinds of Cormorants: Double Crested, Brandt and Pelagic;
e. A Pigeon Guillemot out of water on a rock;
f. A total of 15 Red-tailed Hawks and one Peregrine Falcon;
g. 4 Long-tailed Ducks.
