Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Wednesday November 27. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

On November 25 a female VERMILION FLYCATCHER was reported at the River S
Unit of Ridgefield NWR. A CHESTNUT-COLLARED LONGSPUR was seen November 25 at
the South Jetty of Yaquina Bay. A BLUE JAY is now being seen in Brookings.
The Cove BLUE JAY is still being reported. The LaGrande RED-BELLIED
WOODPECKER and the Hillsboro Library RUSTY BLACKBIRD are still being seen.

On November 25 a LONG-TAILED DUCK was at Pistol River. Three SNOW BUNTINGS,
a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, and a TROPICAL KINGBIRD were at Yaquina Bay November
24. Among the migrants off Boiler Bay November 26 were over 2000 RED
PHALAROPES. A late TURKEY VULTURE was at Cape Kiwanda November 19. A
LONG-TAILED DUCK was at Seaside November 23. Two TROPICAL KINGBIRDS and a
CLAY-COLORED SPARROW are now along Wireless Road near Astoria.

The coon Point ROSS?S GOOSE is still being seen on Sauvie Island. Another is
now along Lower River Road north of Vancouver. A SWAMP SPARROW was at Coon
Point November 26. A TROPICAL KINGBIRD, TREE SPARROW, and a BLACK PHOEBE
were along the Crown-Zellerbach Trail in Scappoose Bottoms during the week.
Two NORTHERN SHRIKES are now at Powell Butte Park in Gresham. A WESTERN
KINGBIRD was photographed November 22 at Ankeny NWR. A ROSS?S GOOSE was on
the refuge that day. On November 21 a FERRUGINOUS HAWK was near Roseburg.
That day two TREE SWALLOWS and two BARN SWALLOWS were near Grants Pass.

On November 24 a SNOWY OWL was reported along Fairview Road in Sherman
County. Up to five BOHEMIAN WAXWINGSS and a LAPLAND LONGSPUR were seen
during the week at Hatfield Lake near Bend. On November 26 three SNOW
BUNTINGS were at Thief Valley Reservoir south of LaGrande.
