Hey Tweeters! I saw a photo on the North Cascades Institute facebook page of a red flanked blue tail taken 11/22/2013 at Semiahmoo Spit in Blaine, WA. Has anyone heard of or seen this bird? I would guess it is the same one that was in BC last year and I would LOVE to see it again on US soil! The photographer was Andrew Reding, I don't know him, but that is who the site credits. Does anyone recognize his name/know how to reach him? I will see if I can get more info from NCI but wanted to put that out there so if anyone is headed that way you can keep an eye out. Please let us know if you find (her? I assume it is a female bird).

Also, not nearly so exciting, but I had a yellow shafted flicker in my yard in Renton on Weds.
