Hi All,

I birded the Point no Point area this afternoon. The biggest highlight
was an adult *Harris's Sparrow* near the first house on the left as one
travels up Gust Halvor Road. Gust Halvor Road heads east off of the
Hansville Highway just as one comes to the farm land area above and to
the south of Hansville. It also flew to a holly tree at the entrance
driveway of the second house along Gust Halvor Road. I know of only a
few other Kitsap records, so this indeed was a nice surprise.

An American Kestrel in the Eglon area was also fairly unusual for
Kitsap. The waters off Point no Point were fairly busy as usual with
plenty Bonaparte's Gulls and some nice alcid activity.

Cheers and good birding,
