An osprey circled the Edmonds marsh last week shortly before I spotted the northern harrier.? Monday (9/30) one landed on the old light stand at the west end of Pt. Edwards walkway.? I don't know if either osprey was a late-staying local resident or a bird in transit to its summer residence in Central America.?
