Around 1:30 pm today there were lots of birds moving from the north just
ahead of some low, dark clouds: mixed flock of 100+ Vaux's Swifts and
Violet-green Swallows, 10 Turkey Vultures, and an Osprey were all in air
simultaneously, coming off the foothills to the north and across Scatter Ck.
Valley. Very dynamic time of year to watch the sky here.
