Some random observations:
The Snow Geese were heard, not seen, at 10:25 PM Friday 10/3 over Crown Hill north of Ballard in Seattle.
Don't know how many but definitely talkative on their way south.
Saturday 10/4 around 11 AM two Ospreys fishing at the mouth of the Duwamish River, Harbor Island, Seattle.
One of them quite successful. The fish was about 2/3 the length of the bird (tip of bill to tip of tail).
Around noon there were 14 Turkey Vultures circling up over where I-90 makes landfall on the eastern shore of Lake Washington.
They then drifted south.
