Yesterday (Saturday), about mid-day, I had a juvenile Sharp-tailed
Sandpiper among
approximately 20 Pectoral Sandpipers in the Salicornia marsh near the
south jetty in Fort Stevens State Park. The birds were a bit nervous
due to a marauding Merlin but stayed in the area of the two small ponds
to the north of the parking area (Area C). Some very zoomed photos at:
