Subject: [Tweeters] CORRECTION: Surfbird at Discovery Park not a Wandering

The bird I saw on the rocky tip at WestPoint at Discovery Park this morning
was actually a Surfbird and not a Wandering Tattler.

I was so excited to see a rocky shorebird I apparently made a hasty call. I
really wanted to see a Wandering Tattler in King Co. Maybe some day.

Thanks to Jordan Gunn for asking further questions about the sighting.

Subject: [Tweeters] Wandering Tattler and Lapland Longspur at Discovery Park
Seattle

This morning at Westpoint at Discovery Park I saw a Wandering Tattler. It
was right on the rocky tip with waves crashing around and 20 mph continuous
winds. It was still on the point when I left at 8:30am. Also seen was one of
the recently reported Lapland Longspurs. It was on the South Beach trail
about equal distance to where the road turn-around is.
