In Bellevue's Lake Hills Greenbelt (LHG), a nice 'tan-stripe'
White-throated Sparrow (FOF) was seen this morning on the 'sparrow walk' along 156th
Ave SE about half way between the north end of the Phantom Lake lawn and SE
16th St. on the walk and in adjacent shrubs. The previously reported *16*
Greater White-fronted Geese in the NE corner farm field at SE 16th St.
continue for the third straight day. Nice photo op there btw, especially if
sunny. Northbound on the loop, it was ONLY the GWFG out there and nothing
else; southbound an hour later they had been joined by ~30 Canada Geese. I
scope searched long and hard for the Phantom Lake Surf Scoter at both ends
of the walk without luck. Another FOF this morning was one Varied Thrush
heard near Phantom Lake.
