As promised I've uploaded some bird shots from a Sept 21-27 trip to s.e. AZ.
The best bird I photographed was the PLAIN-CAPPED STARTHROAT there,
but I'm interested in any thoughts on a mystery Empidonax I managed to
photograph and videotape (briefly), the unfortunate thing is that all the
photos and video are pretty dark (it was late and I was in east-facing Hunter
Canyon south of Miller Canyon). The flickr site is:

The birding down there was simply terrific, I had 217 species. Flycatchers were overwhelmingly impressive for presence, with 21 species found; 6 vireo species also seemed like a lot this late.
