I was able to re-find the Little Gull at 4:30 this afternoon at Pt-No-Pt.
It appears to be a first winter bird. White underwing and a thick black "M"
pattern on its upperwing. I picked it out by sorting through the upperwing
pattern of all the Bonapartes.
At high tide today there were almost no birds around. An hour or so after
high tide bird activity really picked up.
Tomorrow afternoon should be another good time to look for this bird.
