Tina and I spent the weekend birding in Adams County. We encountered a number of good birds for the county and experienced a kinglet fallout in Washtunca. The trees in Basset Park were crawling with kinglets. The highlights of the weekend were:

Brown Creeper - 2 in Basset Park and 1 in the Ritzville park/golf courseSurf Scoter - 12 on Sprague Lake mixed in with large numbers of Ruddy DuckPacific Wren - 1 in the brush by the boat launch at Sprague LakeAmerican Tree Sparrow - 1 off E Wellsandt Road, and 1 by the boat launch at Sprague LakeVaried Thrush - 14 in Basset Park
