Here is the latest Vancouver RBA transcript. I'm not sure why it was
not sent out at the
same time as it was posted to the Nature Vancouver website, but here
it is anyway.

This is Nature Vancouver's Bird Alert for Wednesday, October 9th,
sponsored by Wild Birds Unlimited in Vancouver and North Vancouver.

If you wish to report a rare, unusual or interesting bird, please
phone the main number
at (604) 737-3074, press "2" for the rare bird reporting line, and
follow
the instructions given there.

Apology: The last bird alert transcript had a late submission of
a GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE. There was
confusion over the sighting and location. It only appeared on
Nature Vancouver's bird alert line, not online. I made
the assumption that the observer had described the location
properly. The sighting really should not have been
included as it was 9 days old and not verified. My apologies for
any inconvenience. = : ) - Julian
