Guy and Tweets,
Paul and Barbara Webster, Whitworth ?, and, eventually, Brad Waggoner and I were there from about 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday 10/15, mostly at Norwegian Pt. but one-ish at the lighthouse. We saw lots of Bonaparte?s Gulls, many Heermann?s Gulls, and some heart-stopping Pigeon Guillemots, but no Little Gull. Brad theorized that it may be in the feed-line that was almost to Whidbey, but those gulls were way too distant for scopes. Until early afternoon, the fog was in and out, too. The gulls were pretty well-scattered, even towards late afternoon when some of them seemed to be moving more towards Norwegian Point. At least there were lots of other birds to look at, but 4 of us were looking for that lifer, and we didn?t get it! (Not to say it isn?t still there...) High tide was around 3 p.m. that day. Brad said the gull had been previously seen around low tide in the mornings. The fog we knew would be there had dissuaded us from even trying that.

Good luck if you go, Guy.

Hey Tweets,
Anyone been out to Point No-Point this week? Seen a Little Gull?
I have not heard a positive report in awhile, and was looking for negative report to keep me from another futile 5 hour vigil ...
Gracias!
