I was at Lyons Ferry late this afternoon and found a BLUE JAY in the orchard trees along the east side of the south parking lot. This is a code 5 Franklin County species. I watched it between 5 and 6 p.m. and was able to see all of the critical field marks. I have some so-so photos as this bird is a bit of a skulker.
