Dear Tweeters,
?
Perhaps other Tweeters were watching last night (Saturday, 26 October 2013), as the Cardinals beat the Red Sox in World Series Game Three.
?
There was an unfortunate moment when the Fox Sports broadcast team decided to cut to an interview with a hirsutely barbate ballplayer. During the interview, of course, something interesting happened on the field, but the broadcasters were predictably?torpid about breaking off the interview and showing the play.
?
This was the play where the Red Sox outfielder?(or was it the second baseman?)?made an error, only for the runner to be tagged out between first and second after an ill-advised attempt to advance.
?
During the replay, a bird could be seen behind the fielders, landing on the outfield grass at Busch Stadium and plucking at something on the turf. The depth of field was not too good, so I could not ID the bird. Anyone get that bird?
?
Okay, back to Game Four!
?
Yours truly,
?
