hi everyone,

awhile ago, whilst i was traveling, i ran across an interesting little
paper about the cognitive development and spatial tracking abilities of
cockatoos -- basically, they keep track of a nut that's been hidden inside
something that is moved around. this study has actually given me some ideas
for tasks i can design for my parrots to do, just to keep them
intellectually stimulated.

anywho, i've been following this research group's output for awhile, and so
i wanted to write about their paper and share that with everyone as soon as
i found some spare time. i just published my piece and thought you might
like to read it:
