Subject: [Tweeters] Olympia-Wigeons and Gadwalls

Saw our first gadwalls and wigeons of the fall in the ponds south of Capital Lake. (Actually first sighting of wigeons in 26 and 27 August. Today's view was a much more in-depth sighting.) Shovelers and wood ducks have also joined the mallards, hooded mergansers, and one common merganser. All appear to be first years.

Also saw a mixed flock which included black-capped chickadees, Wilson's warbler, black-throated gray warbler, and bush tits.
