w/ apologies to diane mc for not running this by her first, i pass on the info that today (i think) is int'l vulture awareness day. who'lda thunk? september is not only the month of talk like a pirate day, but also vulture awareness day. kinda lets us down easier into workaday humdrum after an exciting, warm, dry summer. oh, yeah, we got schwitters critters coming up in a week or so, too!
