Among many nice migrant passerines today was a first year TENNESSEE WARBLER at Sprague Resort (fee area, East end of Sprague Lake). The bird was moving quickly with many other Warblers so whether or how long it will stick is anyone's guess. Other nice birds included Olive-sided and Hammond's Flycatchers, Warbling Vireo, MacGillvray's, Orange-crowned, Yellow-rumped, and Wilson's Warblers, Spotted Towhee, Chipping, White-crowned, Song, and Lincoln's Sparrow.

Davenport Cemetery had a similar mix of birds (minus Tennessee of course) and with a large group of about 15 Townsend's Warbler's. Best bird at Davenport was a RED-EYED VIREO, not seen very often (if ever) in fall migration in Lincoln Co. Reardan had Killdeer, Pectoral, Western, Least and a late SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER, Long-billed Dowitcher, and Red-necked Phalaropes. And a GRAY FLYCATCHER near the parking lot, not an unusual migrant for the region generally but not the place they typically show up!
