We spotted a red shouldered hawk sitting on the sign on the airport road
near the sewage treatment plant yesterday. At least I am pretty sure that
it is what it was. I see from the field guide that they aren't really
supposed to be here, so I thought I would post the sighting.

I also saw one elegant tern hanging out with the marbled godwits at the
coast guard station in Westport.

Someone please bring the sun back to Ocean Shores.
