Hi,
Thick fog, but I worked through a couple of hundred Savannah Sparrows, and
there were also many Yellow Warblers. I was lucky to meet a couple of nice
(tweeters) birders.
Late on I found a BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER on the sands of Hobuck beach (I'm
not sure I've seen one tidally before), refound the continuing
RED-SHOULDERED HAWK, and was pleasantly surprised by five late (as in
seasonally, not as in deceased) PURPLE MARTINS.
