hello everyone,

i ran across a paper last week that surprisingly didn't get picked up by
the media at all. i of course, think this paper's findings are quite
important -- and even better, the experimental design was not only solid,
but it quite elegant.

this study found that low-level PCB exposure affects behaviour in birds; in
this case, it affects song structure. probably the most interesting aspect
of this study was the finding that particular PCBs have specific effects
upon song (there are 209 different PCB congeners). anyway, you may wish to
