I just came from lower oak bay county park, Pt Hadlock.

>From 2:00 until I left about 3:00 pm. low tide, there was an American Avocet
feeding. It was still there when I left

Another birder was there. She has birded this park for 15 years and stated
she had never seen one here before.

Last time I saw one was years ago in central California.
