One of the highlights for my year - over 2000 Sandhill Cranes today just S.
of Frenchman Hills Rd, E. of Birder's Corner and W. of intersection with
O'Sullivan Dam Rd. In 3 large groups along the hillside in corn stubble and
grass about 300 yds south of road. Numerous cranes flying West to East and
calling.
