Elizabeth,

This morning I got a distant photo of both Eva and Albert in the nest. I was on the s.e. side of Foster Island and they were both looking at me from a 1/4 mile away. I would sure love to have the eyesight they have.
I will have to do some research but I think it has be around 6 weeks or more since they left the area, which is similar to last year. It is still a mystery to me where they go.
I expect lots of 520 sightings going forward but as far as I know you were the first. Now if I could get some sun to enable some nice photos?

Hi Tweets,

To my surprise, I saw a Bald Eagle perched on the sculpture on the North Side of the 520 bridge yesterday. I had not seen the family since their eaglet fully fledged. I am guessing it is Albert back to check out the nest. Could it be this early? I'm hoping that all the construction doesn't discourage the couple's return.
