Hi Tweeters,
My family and I spent a nice afternoon in Seabeck on the Kitsap
Peninsula. Although the weather was wet for most of the afternoon, it
dried up later on and we enjoyed a large flock of ducks on Seabeck Bay.
There were large numbers of Surf Scoters, Common Goldeneye, Barrows
Goldeneye, and Bufflehead, as well as smaller numbers of Horned Grebe
and Red-breasted Merganser. I was able to pick out four White-winged
Scoter, as well. Some of the birds were putting on their courtship
display, which was fun to see.
