I think this is the same bird I have seen several times before, but always at a distance. This afternoon it was peched on the wire right at the junction of Grandview and Blaine roads, right at the entrance to the Cherry Point Refinery. It was looking down at the little pond on the NW corner, right in the sun and quite tame! It?s mostly white above, with a normal reddish tail, dark head, and pretty normal, although pale, underparts. Wonderful bird and fabulous photo op.
