Tweets,
David and I made a quick trip on Sat. in the mist and light rain to Thurston Co to pick up Western Meadowlark at Mima Mounds. They were singing on the Southern Loop, along with many Savannah Sparrows?no bluebirds encountered. We also saw an FOY Osprey there, and on Maytown Rd from Littlerock an FOY Turkey Vulture. We had just one unusual bird?a clearly heard-only Cassin?s Vireo at Scatter Creek Wildlife Area.

The GH Owl family was at Nisqually on the loop trail, interior from the boardwalk on the river side.
