I spent the weekend in Kittitas County, east of Cle Elum, in the area of Lambert Road, south of Hwy 970 (the north shoulder of Lookout Mtn). Highlights included:
- displaying WILD TURKEYS
- a flock of 30 or so CASSIN'S FINCHES (feeding on and below a couple seed feeders)
- what I believe was a yellow-variant CASSIN'S FINCH
- a yellow-variant HOUSE FINCH
- a SAY'S PHOEBE
- a pair of WESTERN BLUEBIRDS
- female RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRDS (no males)
- at least two WILLIAMSON'S SAPSUCKERS
- at least two WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS
- the usual RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, MOUNTAIN CHICKADEES, DARK-EYED JUNCOS, AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES, RAVENS, NORTHERN FLICKERS, AMERICAN ROBINS, STELLER'S JAYS, SPOTTED TOWHEES

If you have any different thoughts on the yellow variants, please let me know. Thank you.
