Hello, this is the Audubon society of Portland Rare Bird Report This report
was made Thursday April 10. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

On April 8 a TOWNSENDS SOLITAIRE was in NW Portland. Good sized flock of
AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES are now being seen in Portland. On
April 5 a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT was in McMinnville. A MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD
continues to be seen in Eugene. On April 3 a group of CHIPPING SPARROWS were
at Fern Ridge Reservoir. A singing CASSIN?S VIREO was near Elmira April 3.
On April 3 a EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL at Merlin in the Rogue Valley.
Two TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS and a CHIPPING SPARROW were at Ashland April 3.
Two EASTERN KINGBIRDS were seen April 7 at Smith Rocks State Park. CALLIOPE
HUMMINGBIRDS were reported during the week near Sisters. On April 4 a
LONG-BILLED CURLEW was at Hatfield Lake near Bend. On April 9 34 DUNLIN, a
GREATER and 2 LESSER YELLOWLEGS were there. A couple of LESSER GOLDFINCHES
continue to be seen at a Lostine feeder.
