This very cooperative visitor was present again all day today, to the delight of many. At times, it seemed there were more birders/photographers at the swim beach than there were gulls! With the beautiful weather and a more active set of birds, field marks were much more clear than yesterday.

Other birds of interest today included a calling Sora, at the Entrance Pond again about dawn; a Band-tailed Pigeon, on Promontory Point; and a flock of about 2 dozen Cedar Waxwings (FOY), near the Marsh Ponds.
