Hello all,

Guy McWethy and I had two Ross's Geese along with 15 Snow Geese at Scooteney reservoir today. We also observed a breeding plumage red-necked grebe, breeding plumage horned and eared grebe, ruddy ducks, black-necked stilts, caspian terns, western kingbirds, and a Dunlin. We also had cinnamon teal, prairie falcon, and Virginia rail on scooteney park road area. Five Least sandpipers, a greater yellow legs, and a three American Avocets were in the pond on the west side of Taylor flats just north of the Douglas fruit building.

Great day to be out birding! Spring birding is rapidly getting better! Pictures of Ross's Geese available.

Thanks for the company birding Guy!

Good birding!
