Just back from a pleasant midday of birding at
Eide Road and English Boom and nearby Camano. Had
50+ species with highlights being the Purple
Martins that have returned to English Boom - big,
bold, beautiful and boisterous - and a flock of 13
Long Billed Dowitchers at Eide Road. Tide was
very low at Camano so no other shorebirds there.
Some Least Sandpipers at Eide Road. Beautiful day.
