Searched high and low up and down the Columbia river between the Walla Walla river delta and protection island no snowy egret to be found. I also checked Madame Dorian park only great egrets. Numerous avocets and a sprinkling stilts seen, most at the walla walla river delta.

Two American Bitterns were thunder pumping amongst the reeds just west of the gravel road into Casey pond. Got some pics. Hopefully the snowy egret is just being sneaky and maybe it's still around!
