Another update on shorebirds at Rest Lake, Ridgefield NWR, Clark County,
Washington this morning with two day comparison (Aug 6, Aug 8):

Killdeer 0,10
Semipalmated Plover 0,2
Semipalmated Sandpiper 5,1
Least Sandpiper 25,50
Western Sandpiper 2,108
Greater Yellowlegs 45,51
Lesser Yellowlegs 1,12
Long-billed Dowitcher 92,147
Short-billed Dowitcher 0,1 (first of the season)
Wilson's Snipe 0,3

A sharp increase from 170 to 385 individuals.

Early morning when high tide hits early in the morning seems to be best.
