Hi Tweets,

in the morning and sun in the afternoon. The temperature was in the
60-70's degrees Fahrenheit, and their was a Low -0'1" Tide at 8:28 am and a
High 11'3" Tide at 3:52 pm.

Highlights included Green Heron at the Visitor Center Pond Overlook. Great
Horned Owl along the entrance road. Male and female Northern Harrier
hunting over the recently mowed fields. A nice variety of warblers,
Warbling Vireo, Western Tanager, immature Hairy Woodpecker and another
Great Horned Owl along the east branch of the Twin Barns Loop Trail. Fly
overs of Red Crossbill, Vaux's Swift and Turkey Vulture. Greater Yellowlegs,
Long-billed/Short-billed Dowitcher, Virginia Rail and Sora along the fresh
water side of the Nisqually Estuary Trail. Baird's Sandpiper, Semi-palmated
Plover with Western Sandpiper's and Least Sandpiper's on the Nisqually
Estuary Boardwalk Trail 2 hours before the high tide. A single Bank
Swallow continues and was observed by a few early in the morning.

84 species for the day with 167 Species for the year, not including hybrids
(Eurasian X American Wigeon; Bufflehead X Common Goldeneye; and Western X
