Subject: [Tweeters] American Dippers in danger

Interesting. I recently watched a banded Dipper while hiking in ONP and
wondered if the band might impair its mobility. Last weekend we saw four
(unbanded AFAICT) Dippers working the outlet stream of Circle Lake on the E
flank of the Mt. Daniel massif. We often see Dippers in the mountains but
seldom more than one or two at a time.
