Subject: [Tweeters] Selasphorus surprise

Having seen no Rufous Hummingbirds in our yard after Aug. 16, I thought they
were gone for the year. Today, August 22, we had a single sub-adult male
RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD scrapping over the nectar feeder with three sub-adult
male ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS.

We also are down to a single male/female pair of AMERICAN GOLDFINCH and a
lone PINE SISKIN.
