Hello tweets,
I ran into a couple birders at Oyhut who had found two Elegant Terns while driving on the beach near Ocean Shores this morning. I made a run down the beach but was unable to find them later in the afternoon.

Later, on my way back from Tokeland I drove the beaches between Greyland and Westport, checking all the gull flocks I found. Eventually I found two Elegant Terns mixed in with several species of Gull as well as Caspian Terns. I managed a couple photos before they flew off.

I also checked the spot Charlie Wright had them recently, but there were none to be found.

Oyhut was only held the more common species today. No Buff Breasted or Stilt Sandpiper. There was one probable Pac Plover seen distantly very briefly and a possible golden plover sp flyover a bit later.
