One sighting at Chimacum Creek I forgot to mention was seeing a Rhinoceros Auklet surfacing right in the middle of a close group of Glaucous-winged Gulls that had just landed on the water. Just imagine coming up for air through a bunch of big pink paddling feet. I thought that would be a kind of funny experience. The auklet didn't stick around.
