Randy Hill and I started a day light. It was a bit slow at first at about 0715 we had reached the northern end of the large cottonwood trees along the river and met groups of birds flying into them. Here are highlights.

Western-wood pewee 5 (this is very low with only two of them calling once each?)
Willow flycatcher 5 ( also a low number)
Warbling vireo 17
Swainson's thrush ( have not had them for a while)
Black-throated gray warbler 46
Wilson's warbler 6
Yellow warbler 10
Bullock's oriole 2
Orange-crowned warbler 4
Western tanager ( lower number for the fall)
American white pelican 14 ( came from Oregon side)
